FAQ

Documentation — frequently asked questions

Where do I find Traqo's API documentation?
Traqo's API reference is published at traqo.ai/docs/api. It covers 42 REST endpoints across 6 resource families (shipments, indents, auctions, transporters, invoices, ePOD), 12 signed webhook events, and OAuth 2.0 authentication. Every endpoint includes a working curl example, request/response schema and rate-limit guidance. SDKs ship for Node.js, Python and Java.
How do I get started with Traqo as a new customer?
Read the Getting Started guide at traqo.ai/docs/getting-started — a 6-step onboarding path covering account setup, ERP connector configuration, master-data import, transporter onboarding via WhatsApp, first auction or indent, and going live. The full path takes 3–7 days for a single-plant deployment with help from your customer success squad.
Which ERPs and external systems does Traqo integrate with?
Traqo ships 55 pre-built integrations across 9 categories — ERPs (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle Fusion, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Workday, JD Edwards), accounting (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books), communication (WhatsApp Business, SMS gateways, Slack, MS Teams), Google Workspace, analytics (Looker, Power BI, Tableau), regional document/customs portals and 15 Google Cloud APIs. Full list at traqo.ai/docs/integrations.
Are Traqo's webhooks reliable for production use?
Yes. Every webhook event is signed with HMAC-SHA256, retried with exponential backoff for up to 24 hours on 5xx or timeout, and de-duplicated via an idempotency key. Twelve event types are supported (shipment.created, shipment.in_transit, shipment.delivered, indent.allocated, invoice.matched, epod.received, etc.). Delivery success rate is >99.95% across customer endpoints.
Is the Traqo API rate-limited?
Yes — 600 requests per minute per API key, with burst tolerance up to 1,200 RPM for ~15 seconds. Rate limits are documented in response headers (X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining, X-RateLimit-Reset). Enterprise customers can request raised limits via the customer-success channel; bulk-import endpoints are exempted.
Does Traqo have a sandbox or test environment?
Yes — every customer gets a sandbox environment with seeded master data, simulated shipments and mock webhook delivery, available at sandbox.traqo.ai. Use the sandbox to test ERP connector mappings, develop against the API, run integration tests and validate workflows before changes go to production. Sandbox is free and isolated from your live data.
